Why There's No Single Price List

Search "photography price in Gurugram" and you'll find plenty of numbers thrown around — mostly from the wedding photography market, where packages commonly range from roughly ₹10,000 for a single traditional session to several lakhs for a multi-day, multi-photographer wedding with albums and cinematic films. Those numbers are real, but they describe a completely different market than corporate photography, professional headshots, product photography, and real estate visuals — the categories most businesses in Gurugram are actually budgeting for.

At Mavrick Productions, we don't publish a fixed rate card, and that's deliberate rather than evasive — a 150-person executive headshot day and a single-photographer product shoot have almost nothing in common cost-wise, and a fixed number would either overcharge simple briefs or undercharge complex ones. What follows is the actual list of factors that determine a quote, so you can estimate your own budget before you ever pick up the phone.

The Factors That Actually Move Your Price

1. Team Size

A single photographer covers most headshot sessions, product shoots, and small events comfortably. Once you're past roughly 200 attendees, a second photographer becomes necessary for simultaneous stage and networking coverage, and large summits often need a three-person team. Each additional photographer adds to the day rate — this is usually the single biggest lever on a corporate event quote. Our corporate photography team scales up or down based on your headcount, not a fixed package tier.

2. Shoot Duration & Number of Days

A two-hour headshot session costs less than a full-day conference, which costs less than a three-day leadership offsite. Multi-day shoots also typically unlock a better per-day rate than booking single days separately, since setup and travel costs are shared across the engagement.

3. Turnaround Speed

Our standard delivery is 48 hours for all photography services, and that's built into every quote by default. If you need same-day content — for a live event or a launch that can't wait — an Express Delivery add-on provides 15–20 edited selects within 4 hours of the shoot ending. Faster turnaround is a genuine cost driver because it means editors prioritising your job over others in the queue.

4. Deliverable Count & Complexity

A quote scoped for "50 retouched images" costs differently than one scoped for "full gallery, no cap" — and heavy retouching (skin work for headshots, colour-matching for product catalogues) takes longer than light editing. Being specific about what you actually need — not just "as many good photos as possible" — is the fastest way to get an accurate number back.

5. Usage Rights

Every Mavrick Productions engagement includes full commercial usage rights with no separate licensing fees — a meaningful difference from studios that charge extra for advertising or large-format usage after the fact. When comparing quotes across studios, always check whether usage rights are included or billed as an add-on, since that gap can be substantial.

6. Photography + Video Bundling

Booking photography and video together — for example, event coverage alongside an professionally produced brand film, or product photography paired with product visualisation video — is priced as a bundle at a discount compared to booking each separately, since a combined shoot shares setup time and briefing.

7. Location & Travel

Shoots within our standard Delhi NCR service area — Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, and Manesar — have travel built in at no extra charge. Shoots outside NCR are quoted with travel and accommodation billed separately.

"The fastest way to get an accurate quote isn't asking 'what's your rate' — it's telling us your headcount, timeline, and what you actually need delivered. Specificity gets you a number in minutes, not days."

How Pricing Differs Across Our Core Services

Since "photography" covers very different jobs, here's how the same cost factors play out across our main service lines:

If you're an early-stage team working with a lean budget, our startup photography guide covers how to scope a single lean session that covers your pitch deck, LinkedIn, and careers page all at once — a good example of how scoping deliverables tightly keeps cost down without cutting corners.

How to Get an Accurate Quote Fast

The quickest path to a real number is a short brief call covering: the service you need, your headcount or SKU count, your timeline and turnaround needs, and where the shoot takes place. We typically turn around a custom quote within 24 hours of that call — no published rate card required, but no guesswork either.
